A Living Legacy
To know Kim was to know her passion for helping others acheive their dream. Her signature closing at any meeting, conversation or email was "Teamwork Makes The Dreamwork!" The Dr. Kimberly D. Merritt Memorial Scholarship Fund will allow Kim's dream and passions for helping others live on.
Funds for the scholarship are deposted through Eastern Kentucky University's Foundation and administered by the EKU Scholarship Office. Based upon availability of funds, awards will be made on an as needed basis to students who meet the criteria as they are identified or come forward.
The scholarship will focus on helping under-represented students stay in school and on track towards graduation.
